We've been hanging with the unloved kids.

Way back in 2011 (aha just last week) I took my boyfriend, Jimbo and my Bestfriend Steph to Fullers Earth Works with me for a photoshoot.

As you may know, I'm exploring abandoned buildings for my photography A2 Coursework and Fullers is THE ultimate abandoned building in my local area. Its a giant abandoned factory, set back from the road and surrounded by fields. Its in a dip and if you didn't know it was there, you would never find it. For my boyfriend and I it was a creative playground and after the three of us got over our first entry nerves, we all began to enjoy the towering remains of the old earth works.

here are a few of the photos I took of us on the day:

Jimbo wearing his protective fluffy River Island hat!

Steph checking for lurkers in the dark room behind her! Eerie.

Jimbo also kindly took my outfit photos for me with the, frankly, mind blowing backdrop of Fullers:

Jumper: Vintage United Colors of Benetton
Jeans: new Look
Boots: Barratts
 Shirt (just visible): Topman
Socks: Unknown
 Necklace: H&M
Bag: Accessorize

I wanted to climb further up the stairs as I have been told there are stunning views of the countryside all around for miles at the top. However, as it was my first visit, I decided not to risk it. But, I am keen to visit again, as is my Dad, so possible under the guidance of a -somewhat- sensible adult I may brave a few more rungs!

Here is the lovely Steph, demonstrating just how blooming massive the main building is!

Here is Jimbo, getting one last snap of the incredible Earth Works before our departure!

I have a ton more photographs which I have yet to edit. A lot more shots of the interiors and outer buildings which demonstrate the decay and are a lot more arty than these memoirs. If you'd like to see them, please leave a comment below and I'll be happy to pop them up. Click here to see one of Jimbo's photos from the day.

Thank you to my trusting and kind friends for accompanying me, special mention to Steph for being a great model and my Mum for driving us there!

Please note, I understand that entering these buildings is considered trespassing. However, I am always careful to take only photographs and leave only footprints. Me and my friends were entirely respectful of the property and merely wished to document the fascinating structure through art. I DO NOT condone breaking and entering nor do I condone graffiting on these buildings.

Happy New Year,

Amy x
